What is Misio? ..bear?

No, Misio isn't a bear..or a hippo. She is a cat although she may not look like it exactly. Have a close look at her whiskers, don't they remind you of cats?

Does Misio mean anything?

Actually, misio means a "little bear" in Polish. But as mentioned before, Misio is a cat.

Is there any male Misios?

Yes ther are! The first 30 or 40 Misios were all females, we then started to have male Misios. That is good news because we can pair Misios now:)

Can I make a link to myMisio.com?

More than welcome! Please put this description "myMisio" with the link. If you have some free banner space, there are couple of ready-made ones so please email us. We will try to adjust the size.

What is Misio made of?

We carefully select materials for Misios..... We use cotton and pellet for filling, and armature wire for spining. Armature wire is an aluminium wire which is extremely flexible, non corrosive and light in weight and usually used in sculpture to hold items in position.

Sorry, many of the yarns are hand-dyed and we cannot assure to make the same color again. Each Misio is unique.

I am not a parent of a Misio, but can I show my photos ?

Sorry, but the use of My Misio Diary is limited only to Misios' parents.

I just want to buy a Misio. Not interested in taking pictures or community ?

That is totally fine. Those features are only for those who are interested in them.

Why do I need to be a Flickr member to create a Misio Diary ?

If you would like to use My Misio Diary to show your photos, or join our community group in Flickr, you need to be a Flickr member because we utilize Flickr to store and manage all pictures.

Why I can't see my photos in the Gallery after adding them to the Group ?

There are two reasons why you may not see your photos in the Gallery after adding them to the Misio Diary Group. First of all, all photos need to be approved by us.

Second of all, in order for your photos to appear in public groups like My Misio Diary, your Flickr account must first be approved by Flickr. If your account is new, make sure you have at least five images uploaded, and then wait to be reviewed. This can take anywhere from 10 days to a few weeks. You might want to try to speed up this process by requesting your account to be reviewed by Flickr staff.
